Searching the Internet can be very frustrating. The Intranet design allows for four levels of searching

If you are searching for a broad theme such as Dinosaurs, gravity, oceans, whales, space etc. you would begin here. The search yo carry out will search the Virtual Online Library provided with the intranet. The Virtual Online Library contains over 6000 reviewed web sites; over 100 000 documents.
The result for a search on "whale" provides 12 sites with details on what is present on the site, a quality rating and an age rating.
- Detail
This also searches the library but instead of searching the reviews it searches the actual web sites and links.
The result is 442 sites with descriptions to assist students in selecting the sites they may require
