Competency 1

Students will need to demonstrate an understanding of the nature and operation of information and communication technology systems and learning tools within the school.

Competency 2

Students will need to demonstrate an ability to be critical of information and be able to discern the reliability, appropriateness, relevance and suitability of the information source that they are investigating.

Competency 3

Students will need to demonstrate an ability to select the most appropriate information or communication tool, and apply it in a manner that will allow them to best answer the task, question or quest that they have been set or they have set themselves.

Competency 4

Students will need to demonstrate that they can access, a variety of information sources, synthesise the content of the various resources, analyse the content and then develop a better model of understanding of the topic or concept that is being investigated.

 

Competency 5

Students will need to demonstrate an ability to present the information, the quest, the task or assignment in a variety of formats using a variety of technologies.
