Guessing the URL can be a useful approach BUT make sure the term being
searched does not have multiple meanings:
If, for example,
you are looking for information on the Olympic Games then your first
tool of choice may be to guess the possible URL
i.e. http://www.olympicgames.com/
http://www.olympics.org
http://www.olympics.com/
However
http://www.olympic.com gets you
a wood treatment site!
