"Why Schools Can't Improve:
The Upper Limit Hypothesis"
Robert Branson

However,
Branson insists that we have reached the upper limit of this 20th century
education paradigm.

"Jobs
in the new economy--the ones that won't get outsourced or automated--"put
an enormous premium on creative and innovative skills, seeing patterns
where other people see only chaos," says Marc Tucker, an author
of the skills-commission report and president of the National Center
on Education and the Economy." [2]
Time

BUT
there are implications . . . .
The
Transitions: There are numerous ways
in which the new paradigm differs from the old.

Dispositions
The
term thinking dispositions borrows from the lay use of the
term disposition to refer to a predilection to exhibit a behavior under
certain conditions, but a predilection neither necessary nor sufficient
for the behavior.[3]
