There are quite a few options out there and a wide range of costs. If you have a school of 700-1000 students you can expect to use 10Gb/month of data if students have good access to computer equipment. This can cost anything from $750/mnth (Knowledge Networks) to $1000/mnth (Jetstream 1000).

Increasingly students will start to upload almost as much as they will download. This will be via messaging, audioconferencing and videoconferencing and data transfer/sharing.

PS The new Telecom Southern Cross Fibre cable has increased bandwidth from 1Gbps to 480Gbps!
